Deltona Lakes elementary is in need of student volunteers to help setup laptops and iPADS to work with students. If you are interested please contact Mrs. Cunningham at (386)575-4115 Ext. 41835.

Seniors, you have until Dec. 30th to order your graduation cap & gown package. Herff Jones representatives will be on campus during lunch time on tomorrow to distribute class rings and take orders for grad packages & class rings.  Seniors visit our school website: www.uhstitans.com  for all your up to the minute graduation information.

Seniors: Your senior panoramic will take place Friday Dec. 15th at the top of 7th period in the gym.

Club Picture day will be Friday, Dec. 1st. Please see your club sponsor for your picture time.

Seniors:  Now is the time to complete your application for the Bright Futures Scholarship by going online to www.FloridaStudentFinancialAid.org, click on State Grants, Scholarships, and Applications, and then click on Student Application.  Complete this application now, do not wait for your test scores or community service hours.  Those can be input later.

Seniors:  if you have been accepted to a College or University, we want to know.  Give a copy of your acceptance letter to Mrs. Marracino in the guidance office so that we can celebrate your success! 

Seniors there is a Graduation & Financial Aid Workshop on sat. Nov. 18th from 8:30-2pm at Pine Ridge High School. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable info concerning graduation requirements, scholarship info, financial aid and college application process. Lunch will be provided. Please register with your school counselor or AVID teacher.

Full Sail University and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University will both be on campus next week. If you are interested in hearing information from either school please stop by Guidance to sign up.

The next United Club Council meeting will be Nov. 21st in the lecture hall at 3pm. All club sponsors should plan on sending one member to attend this meeting. If you have any questions please speak with Mrs. Pearsall in room 2b-110.

The UHS Media Center will be hosting Literacy Game Night on Thursday Nov 9th from 3 to 7 pm.  Come out and show off your Scrabble and Boggle skills, or maybe try a Dungeons and Dragons adventure.  Participants are eligible to win gift certificates for our January book fair.

To register to win students must bring their official school report card, a photo ID and the application to Daytona Dodge by the end of the business day on Sunday, Nov. 12th.

With the holidays just around the corner Project 396 is collecting for HOPE…Helping other people with essentials. If you would like to donate essentials such as: personal hygiene items, water, non-perishable food items, blankets & pillow please drop off your donations to the textbook room or 2b-110.

ASVAB test will be given here at UHS on November 8th at 8am in the Auditorium. Please sign up in Guidance if you are interested.

The Criminal Justice Club will be meeting today during the first half of lunch in 1B-101 Deputy Dye’s classroom. We will be discussing next month’s “Cram-A-Cruiser” toy drive.  All students interested in joining the CJ club are still welcome to attend this meeting!

Game kick s off at 7pm.  This is an orange out game, let’s fill the stadium with orange. Admission is $6 and they will be charging for parking..  Bring chairs as seating is limited.

TITAN 411 Thurs. Oct. 26th,  2017 

Titans!!!! Amnesty week for our school clubs is currently in full effect… please plan to support our school clubs and organizations… check out their tables set up in the courtyard during lunch time. There are various yummy goodies for sale.

Titans tomorrow is our school wide PINK OUT!!! Show your support for breast cancer awareness and dress in your best pink attire. Then plan to join us at our Football Pink Out game as our TITANS take on Spruce Creek at Spruce Creek at 7pm.

Seniors, Herff Jones representatives will be on campus tomorrow during lunch time in front of the book room to take your cap and gown order. They will also be on campus Saturday, Oct. 28th from 10am-noon in the lecture hall for your parents and guardians to come in and place your cap & gown orders.

Seniors, the senior parent night was rescheduled for Thursday, Nov. 2nd at 6pm in our auditorium.  This is open to all seniors and your parents/guardians… you will receive information regarding graduation, scholarships, and financial aid.

National Honor Society Inductions are this evening at 6pm. The location has changed to the Gym. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Berner in the media center.

The Fishing Club will meet in room 3-308 tomorrow, Friday, October 27th during the first half of lunch .

There will be a Used Books AND Comics Sale in the Media Center Friday, Oct. 27th.  This event is hosted by NEHS. This will be an all day event.  Bring Money!  Bring Cash!

Girl’s basketball will be Monday, October 30 and October 31 from 5:30-7:30. Make sure you have your t shirt, shorts, and basketball shoes. All necessary athletic forms and physicals need to be submitted into the athletic office prior to participating in any activity with a sports team.

Girls Fast pitch Softball Conditioning starts Nov. 1 @ 2:00pm. You will meet after school every Tuesday, Wednesday,  and Thursday. All paperwork MUST be turned into Coach Eggert before you can participate

Are you a student looking to dual enroll in January? Do you need a concordant score for Alg. 1? October 30th – November 7th  we will be offering the PERT test in 1b-209 starting at first bell. If interested you must reserve a seat with Mrs. Fraine in the media center.   Please see Mrs. Fraine with any PERT related questions.

A representative from Seminole State College will be on campus Thursday November 2nd  in the Lecture Hall. If you are interested in attending please sign up in Guidance.
