Driver’s Ed class will be today from 3-5:30pm in room 3-105.

We are in full testing mode as we start the FSA retakes and EOCs  Wed. September 20th.   If you are testing in September, you should have received a letter from your teacher yesterday.  Your notification will tell you the date, time, and location of your test. Put that paper in a safe spot, easily accessible.  For ELA, you may bring your earbuds or we have head phones you may use.  Please see Mrs. Fraine in the media center if you have any questions.  Again, FSA retakes start THIS WEEK. For your preparation and for your convenience there are practice tests on the FSA portal.

Homecoming Tickets are currently on sale during lunch in room 2B-110. You must have a current student ID and no outstanding obligations to purchase a homecoming ticket.  Tickets will be $25 through September 29th. September 30th, ticket price will increase to $35. Last day to purchase ticket will be Friday, October 6th.

Counselors will be starting senior conferences this week.  During this conference, counselors will be reviewing credits required for graduation, post-secondary plans, and financial aid and scholarship opportunities.  If parents would like to be a part of this conference with their senior, please contact the guidance office at extension 46219 to make an appointment. 

The College Expo is still scheduled for this evening, September 19th, from 5:30 until 7:30pm at Mainland High School.  There will be over 100 colleges and universities there to answer your questions.  There will also be a financial aid presentation at 5:30 & 6:30pm.  This is for all students and their parents.

Sophomore’s interested in joining SGA? Want to be involved? There will be an interest meeting today during the first half of lunch in the lecture hall. Hope to see you there!

Representatives from University of Central Florida will be on campus on Thursday September 21st in the Auditorium. If you are interested in attending please sign up in Guidance.

TITAN 411 Sept. 7, 2017

A huge win for our Lady Titan’s Golf Team that played the 9 Hole Shoot Out Tournament against 8 other high school teams yesterday.  The first time in school history the team won the entire tournament with great play from all players.  Scores were Kenna Kelting 41, Jordan McKendrick 43, Coral Estes 46 and Maddie Leake 54.  Two players, Kenna & Jordan made top 5 and the closest team was still 9 strokes away from our 183 total score.  Congratulations Lady Titans.”

Varsity Football will play at Lake Gibson High School today at 730pm at Lake Gibson High School.

Varsity Bowling has a home match against Spruce Creek today at 345pm. 

The JV Football Game for today against Mainland is postponed, and will be rescheduled.

Volleyball games for this evening have been cancelled.

Saturday Drivers Education will not happen this Saturday due to the storm. The date will be made up at the end of the term.

All school activities for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday are cancelled.

Herff Jones ring order days have been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later time, please stay tuned to the daily announcements for new dates and times.

Any student interested in studying abroad for a year, see Mrs. Marracino for information regarding the Rotary Youth Exchange Scholarship worth over $24,000 before the end of the day. 

The Senior Cap & Gown Graduation assembly scheduled for Tuesday has been cancelled and will be rescheduled. Stay tuned to the website for the new date and time.

Individual Yearbook photos are scheduled for next week. Students will be taken down to the auditorium by their english classes. Sophomore students will take their pictures on Wednesday, Juniors will take picture on Thursday an dFreshmen will take pictures on Friday.

All students are invited to attend the College and Career Expo on September 19th from 5:30 – 7:30pm at Mainland High School. This is an opportunity to speak to representatives from colleges and universities form around the country.  There will also be a financial aid presentation at 5:30 and 6:30pm.

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Titan Swimmers for their double win over Seabreeze High School yesterday.  With a first place taken by Jaylen Parrish in the 200 Freestyle, Stephanie Bryn in the 500 Freestyle, Sydney Focarino, Alexia Lemus, Eny Zuniga, and Cheney Scott in the 200 Free Relay, David Leonard, Steven Acevedo, Devon Neumeyer, and James Partlow in the 200 Medley Relay, Martin Koudjo in the 200 Freestyle, James Partlow in the 100 Freestyle, Craig Sava, Gavin Arnold, Martin Kouadjo, and Steven Acevedo in the 200 Free Relay, David Leonard in the 100 Backstroke, and Devon Neumeyer in the 100 Breaststroke…way to go TITAN SWIM!!!
