University High School Branch

We are very excited to offer credit union services located inside our University High School campus. 

The Launch Federal Credit Union branch is a satellite branch that offers students and faculty banking services such as savings accounts, checking accounts, and car loans at discounted rates. 

We are pleased to announce that Launch Federal Credit Union has installed an ATM machine inside the cafeteria.  The ATM machine dispenses denominations of $5's and $10's, and any account holder can us the ATM with no fee.  ***If students have accounts with other financial institutions, the machine will charge a fee as well as possible fees with the other institutions***

Debit cards are available and can be used at any branch office or at more than 600 Publix Presto locations, with no ATM fee.

Launch Federal Credit Union offers many promotions to our students such as "Super Saver" and "A Positive Future", where students have an opportunity to win prizes for opening an account or for A's on their report cards.  Previous prize examples given away in the past are items such as an iPod, Kindle Fire, laptop, and savings bonds.

*This credit union is Federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).

Hours & Requirements

The campus branch is open during lunch each Tuesday and Wednesday.  Branch members may also go to the Deland or Deltona local branch offices to conduct business.

Any student or faculty member may open an account.  Students under 16 must open an account with a parent or guardian.  Students 16 or older may open an account by themselves but must provide two forms of identification (drivers license, student id, passport, social security card, etc.)

Students may open an account with a minimum of $30 ($5 towards one time membership fee).

Students seeking auto loans receive a 1% rate break on the loan for being a UHS student member.
