Titans winter sports recap
Before the trees turn green again and Florida’s ever brief winter comes to a close, it is important to look back at another solid season from Titan winter sports, with Titan basketball, soccer, and wrestling all showcasing their talents across the district and regional levels. With big wins over local rivals and great new accomplishments in every sport, there was plenty to be proud of this winter.
Boys soccer kicks into gear
As winter rolls around, so does boys soccer season. As one of the most popular winter sports on campus, the boys face lofty expectations as always this season. The team looks to build on last year and reach new levels of success, especially in the playoffs. One major goal for the Titans is to have the first winning season in program history as well as winning districts.
The goal of the season
Starting the season off with a record of 2-1 our Lady Titans soccer team hopes to go all the way to districts this year, and possibly even regionals.
Chicago Cubs win 2016 MLB World Series
After 108 years of heartbreak, the impossible was finally achieved: The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Coming back from a 3-1 deficit, the Cubs won three games in a row, including two on the road in Cleveland.
Fall sports wrap up
As the leaves start to change colors and hoodie weather rolls around, another season of Titan fall sports comes to a close. UHS has 11 different fall teams that compete across seven different sports, and each team has had major accomplishments throughout the 2016 season.
